Chinese smartphone company, Shawmi has launched Redmi Note 5 smartphone in India today. This smartphone has been launched in two variants of 3GB RAM / 32GB storage and 4GB RAM / 64GB of storage. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is an upgraded variant of Redmi Note 4 launched last year. This phone will be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue color variant.
Price of Shawmi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro and launch:
Shawmi launches Redmi Note 5 smartphone at a price of Rs 9999. 3GB RAM / 32 GB variant is priced at Rs 9999 and 4GB RAM / 64GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999. The company has also offered an ultra slim case, which will be available to consumers free of charge with the phone. Redmi Note 5 Pro’s 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage are priced at Rs 16999. The 4GB RAM / 64GB storage costs Rs 13,999. The company informed in the launch event that Jio will also give a cashback of Rs 2200 to consumers on the purchase of both the smartphones.
