Gujarat Horticulture Mission invites application for selection of consultant at project coordination unit and project implementation unit on contractual basis for the development of Horticulture sector in the state. Details of Advertisement are as follow.

Field Consultant :
Qualification : B.sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc.(Horti) Candidate with Experience in concern field of horticulture sector shall be accountable for priority. (Horticulture development and production of Horticultural Crops like Vegetables crops/ Fruits Crops/Flower crops and Rejuvenation/ High density planting/canopy management/ Greenhouse technology and post harvest management etc.)
Remunerate per month : Rs.20000/-

Responsibility :
Implementation of the programme
Monitoring and reporting the State Horticulture Mission progress
prepared a Human Resources Development component Calendar and functioning for capacity building
Advise and suggestion for technical point to field Level staff

Activity for implementation of national horticulture mission scheme.
Data base collection and maintenance
Reporting and monitoring the National Horticulture Mission scheme
Motivate the farmers to prepared a new crop cluster at field level
Impart farmers Training and advisory services in a specific field crops
Standard of package of practices of crop production/ protected cultivation
Monitoring and reporting of progress of crop clusters/ production in related programme
Training and capacity Building
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on an interview.
